    <title type="html"><![CDATA[Cottage, 529 Bay Rd, Marion Bay – Tasmanian Heritage]]></title>
    <summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p><img src="https://www.omekasandbox.sorellhistory.org/files/fullsize/99f6558f356cb76f7a643d070350af40.jpg" alt="The cottage in 2025" /><br/><p><strong><em>This cottage is of historic heritage significance because of its ability to demonstrate the principal characteristics of a single storey, weatherboard Victorian Georgian domestic building.</em></strong></p><p>A symmetrical, single storey, weatherboard cottage with a corrugated iron gabled roof and a verandah under the broken-back main roof. The verandah has been enclosed and glazed at a later date, and the central door is a modern replacement.</p><p>This building is of historic heritage significance because its townscape associations are regarded as important to the community's sense of place.</p></p><p><em><strong><a href="https://www.omekasandbox.sorellhistory.org/items/show/149">For more (including 3 images), view the original article</a>.</strong></em></p><p></p>]]></summary>
