    <title type="html"><![CDATA[Non Denominational Chapel and Cemetery – Tasmanian Heritage]]></title>
    <summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p><img src="https://www.omekasandbox.sorellhistory.org/files/fullsize/b4541dd918cb7eebf7a008b784c59c01.jpg" alt="The Chapel" /><br/><p><strong><em>This Non Denominational Chapel is of historic heritage significance because of its ability to demonstrate the principal characteristics of a sandstone Old Colonial Georgian ecclesiastical building.</em></strong></p><p>A rubble sandstone stone building with a rectangular ground-plan, corrugated iron gabled roof, boxed eaves, and ashlar sandstone quoinwork and reveals. The door is in a gable wall, and there are three windows to the side elevation. There are gravestones around the church, concealed by the long grass. </p><p>This building is a significant element in the village townscape.</p><p>This Non Denominational Chapel and gravestones are of historic cultural heritage significance because of their association with the general community as religious and townscape landmarks.</p><p><a href="http://omekasandbox.sorellhistory.org/items/show/135"><img src="http://omekasandbox.sorellhistory.org/files/thumbnails/3545f2416e238943b17abc99b6dd295d.jpg" /></a></p></p><p><em><strong><a href="https://www.omekasandbox.sorellhistory.org/items/show/150">For more, view the original article</a>.</strong></em></p><p></p>]]></summary>
